Using the website

These terms cover the Small Meridian website, its materials and access to the browser demo. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Small Meridian.

Use the website only if you agree to the terms in effect. A game or demo supplied with a separate licence is also subject to that licence. A purchase through a game store is subject to that store's purchase terms; this website does not take orders or payments.

Website materials

The text, game images, artwork, logos and software on this website belong to Small Meridian or their respective owners. Viewing the website does not transfer ownership of those materials.

You may browse the website and share links to its pages. Copying, adapting or distributing its materials requires permission unless applicable law or a separate licence permits that use. Keep any required copyright and licence notices.

Permitted use

Do not use the website to break the law or infringe another person's rights. Do not introduce malicious software, try to access systems or information without permission, or deliberately interfere with the website's operation.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect the website or comply with the law. Any restriction remains subject to rights that applicable law protects.

Project information and the demo

Projects shown as unannounced are in development. Images and descriptions show the work presented on the website; they do not promise a release date, a finished feature set or availability on a particular platform.

The browser runner is a standalone demo. It does not provide access to the full games shown on the project pages. We may change or remove the free browser demo as development continues.

Privacy and external links

Our privacy policy explains how information is handled on this website. An external website or service has its own terms and privacy practices, which you should read when using that service.

A link does not make Small Meridian responsible for the operation or content of another service.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but it may contain errors or be unavailable from time to time. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every item will remain available.

To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by use of the website. This provision does not remove any warranty, remedy or liability that applicable law requires, including protections that cannot be waived.

Changes and applicable law

We will post revised terms with their effective date. Changes apply going forward, with any notice or consent required by law. They do not remove rights you already have under an existing agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, subject to any mandatory protections available where you live. A dispute may be brought before a court with jurisdiction. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive a right to a class action.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
